Niagara Speed Skating - St. Catharines

2023-2024 Season Schedule

Bill Burgoyne Arena

  • Session 1 - Learn to speed skate & developing skaters, Fridays 6:15pm – 7:30pm – Starting October 13, 2023
  • Session 2 - Competitive and older Skaters, Fridays 7:30pm - 9:15pm – Starting October 13, 2023

The last skate for the 2023-2024 season is March 8, 2024.

To join Session 1 practices, we strongly encourage new Skaters to arrive having previous skating experience either from CanSkate programs, Hockey, inlining, roller blading, etc. We suggest you join a CanSkate program nearest you if you or your child have never been on ice skates before.

Session 2 practices are attended by experienced Skaters who are generally older or are preparing for competition. These Skaters are often moved from session 1 practices when their skills develop. Skaters are assigned to each practice session as determined by the Coaching Staff.
